Hello, During my holidays, I'm attempting to convert the French translation of the installation guide to French.
Of course, I won't do this without Philippe Batailler's consent, but
at least I wanted to prepare it and use the opportunity of French
being currently complete while we're far away from the release.
However, I'm having strange problems.
Apparently the scripts/create_po script does not work as expected but
that's not really a big problem, I can work around this.
But, other problems I'm facing are more strange and I can't find any
explanations for them.
For instance, if I attempt the following:
split2po en/boot-installer/alpha.xml fr/boot-installer/alpha.xml >~/tmp/foo.po
...the foo.po file stops at "msgid "As on other architectures, you
should install the newest available...". All further strings are just
ignored.
Anyone knowing what could be going wrong ?
