--- Begin Message ---Subject: partman requires plural form for strings Package: partman Severity: normal Hello, I have found this msgid which belongs to partman. It should have plural form because of the variable ${MINIMUM}. You entered a passphrase that consists of less than ${MINIMUM} characters, which is considered too weak. You should choose a stronger passphrase. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-rc4-merci Locale: LANG=ro_RO.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ro_RO.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- Regards, EddyP ============================================= "Imagination is more important than knowledge" A.Einstein

--- Begin Message ---I've added a comment to the script that we need to take care of translations if ever changing minlen. My understanding is that this is all we can really do about this bug barring changes in debconf/locales as Denis mentioned. As minlen is currently not dynamic and the caveat is documented in both template and script, I'm closing this bug. Max
