This is now supported, though still not in an "obvious" way [1]. It would be 
great if you could test that it works using a daily built image.
See [2] for the boot options to use.

Note that the gtk frontend is currently broken (see #477331), but you should 
still be able to test this if you just concentrate on whether the mouse 
works on the first dialog that's displayed.

As discussed before, the X configuration side of this is primarily an issue 
that you should take up directly with the X.Org developers.
