Hello. I'm fairly new to Debian, Linux, and FreeBSD, and have a question regarding the Debian/kFreeBSD project... Is the goal of the kFreeBSD project: 1. to be able to use Debian/Linux .debs as is on top of Debian/kFreeBSD via FreeBSD's Linux compatibility layer? [and therefore can use all the existing repository sites] OR 2. to build a completely parallel tree of .debs from source that are specific to Debian/kFreeBSD (and which run as FreeBSD binaries; i.e. FreeBSD syscalls, NOT Linux syscalls via Linux compatibility layer)? Thanks!
