Is the goal of the kFreeBSD project:

2. to build a completely parallel tree of .debs from source that are specific to Debian/kFreeBSD (and which run as FreeBSD binaries; i.e. FreeBSD syscalls, NOT Linux syscalls via Linux compatibility layer)?

It uses native FreeBSD syscalls. It is currently available
for i386 and amd64 (in contrary to Linux compatibility layer).
