Some suggestions for improving support for DL burners:
1) Inform user that it has detected a dual layer burner when starting up
for the first time with a particular configuration.
1a) Include a dual layer yes/no item in devices section of K3Bsetup.
2) Have project progress bar account for the extra space in a DL disc.
Currently the bar maxes out at 4.4GB. Anything beyond that is red, even
if well within the DL disc's capacity. Suggest green for 0-4.4GB and
yellow for 4.4-8.5GB. Red for anything beyond that. This will remind the
user that if they have gone into the yellow, they will need a DL disc to
proceed further with the project as is.
2a) An extra dialog box informing the user of this prior to committing
to the burn. This would give the user an extra chance to back out of
the project if they did not want to burn a DL disc. Given the still
high cost of DL discs, one should be extra sure that they actually want
to use one.
