Some releases of Debian currently have an empty Release.gpg file.
This makes it impossible to check the integrity of the archive
and therefore prevents debmirror from doing its job if it has this
check enabled.
I looked at the following 3 mirrors to make sure the empty Release.gpg
is in the original archive and not just on a single broken mirror:
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/dists/sarge/Release.gpg
http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/sarge/Release.gpg
http://ftp.ca.debian.org/debian/dists/sarge/Release.gpg
At least sarge, sid and experimental seem to be affected, maybe others
too. Woody seems to be OK.
I would be glad if you could look into the Release signing.
Thanks,
Mirko

Thus marking almost four years since we've had support for this on the
server, and still no support for it on the client, even in unstable. *sigh*
Anyway, should be fixed as of tomorrow. New key at
http://ftp-master.debian.org/ziyi_key_2005.asc
Cheers,
