Package: mozilla
Version: 1.4-6
Package: deskmenu
Version: 1.4.0-2.1
Both of these programs won't start and I get "Segmentation fault". I strongly
suspect it is a library problem and I checked to see which dynamic libraries
they use in common and narrowed the problem to these libraries:
libatk-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libatk-1.0.so.0 (0x40442000)
libexpat.so.1 => /usr/lib/libexpat.so.1 (0x408ce000)
libfontconfig.so.1 => /usr/lib/libfontconfig.so.1 (0x4083c000)
libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0x403d6000)
libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 (0x4045c000)
libglib-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0x4052a000)
libgobject-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0 (0x404f3000)
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0x4012b000)
libpango-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so.0 (0x404c0000)
libpangox-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpangox-1.0.so.0 (0x404b2000)
libpangoxft-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.so.0 (0x40491000)
I started to having the problem after I installed the package xfce4, but I am
not
sure whether this problem is related to that because I can't remove xfce4
either (I
also submitted a bug report about that)
I use unstable version Debian GNU/Linux system. My kernel version is 2.4.21.
Some
of the version numbers of packages might be related to this are
libexpat1 1.95.6-6
fontconfig 2.2.1-6
libfontconfig1 2.2.1-6
gdk-imlib1 1.9.14-14
libglib1.2 1.2.10-9
libglib2.0-0 2.2.3-1
libgtk1.2 1.2.10-16
libgtk2.0-0 2.2.4-1
libpango1.0-0 1.2.5-1.1
