That is correct. However, we can't fix this bug in the Debian stable
release because of the release update policy. You can either apply the
patch that is listed at that URL to your local squirrelmail
installation, or use another PHP version that doesn't cause the problem
(e.g. PHP 4).
I'm closing this bug with the fixed version to note that it doesn't
apply to unstable and testing, which have 1.4.9.
