Hello,
While trying evolution-exchange I got the follwing error:
evolution-exchange-storage: ath.c:181: _gcry_ath_mutex_lock: Assertion
`*lock == ((ath_mutex_t) 0)' failed.
Google gave me a Ximian bug:
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=66342 that actually solves
the problem :-). The problem as stated in that report is:
...
Can you try this fix against libsoup? Looks like libgcrypt used
to be threadsafe by default but then they changed it to not be!
...
patch submitted. (I'll close the bug once it's committed.)
The patch will be in libsoup 2.2.1, which will come out on or
before October 13 (GNOME 2.8.1).
And yes, it doesn't affect our packages, because libgcrypt was
threadsafe by default until 1.2.0, and we're using 1.1.91.
...
The patch mentioned is one against libsoup:
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=11445
As far as I can see, it add threadsafety to libsoup's use of gcrypt.
As this bug makes evolution-exchange fail with a https connection (which
most companies use) I would appriciate if you could fix this bug before
the release of version 2.2.1.
Thanks, Peter
