Package: mesag3-glide2
Version: 3.4.1-3
I am unable to run any GL programs under MesaG3-Glide2 with MESA_GL_FX set to
"fullscreen". The programs that I run give me the error:
gd error (glide): Can't find or access Banshee/V3 board
gd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTSegmentation fault
I do have the TDFX driver and frame buffer driver from the 2.4.4 kernel
compiled into it and it has an entry in /dev (which uses devfs). This is what
my tdfx files in /dev and /dev/misc look like:
hades:/dev# ls -l tdfx
lr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 9 Apr 28 15:25 tdfx -> misc/tdfx
hades:/dev/misc# ls -l tdfx
crw-r----- 1 root root 10, 63 Dec 31 1969 tdfx
I am using the XFree86 version 4.0.2-13 3DFX server module to run the X
Window system.
The program I was running was running as the root user. I also had this
problem with the 2.2.19pre17 kernel from Debian with the tdfx module
installed.

Closing the submitter never replied to the maintainer questions 6 years
