Package: mozilla-browser
Version: 2:1.6-7
Severity: normal

The only place I know where there is sound is in flash. Sound works fine
if neither esd nor artsd are running. If either of those are running, I
get no sound in flash. This is with dsp set to auto or the appropriate
setting for the daemon running. I've been having this problem for many
months now. I think since around mozilla 1.3 or 1.4. I just recently
learned that sound does work if neither are running.

I believe the dsp wrapper autodetection works fine in most cases now (in
iceape, which replaces mozilla), but feel free to file a new bug if you
have specific non-working cases.

Thanks

Mike
