Package: passwd
Version: 1:4.0.3-8
Severity: normal

While trying to install the nagios-mysql package, addgroup aborted and
caused the package installation to fail. Further checks give the
following:

> curly:~# addgroup nagios
> Adding group nagios (1007)...
> addgroup: `/usr/sbin/groupadd -g 1007 nagios' exited from signal 13.
> Aborting.
> Cleaning up.
> curly:~# delgroup nagios
> Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at
> /usr/sbin/delgroup line 268.
> Removing group nagios...
> /usr/sbin/delgroup: `/usr/sbin/groupdel nagios' exited from signal 13.
> Aborting.
> curly:~#

This problem has been present for some time.
