Vim in perl mode no longer highlights the TODO in:
# TODO: rewrite in C
in red. This used to work, and now I have lots of perl code where my TODO's
arn't showing up as they used to. To make it show up in red now, I must
remove the colon. Note that in both shell code and C code, vim highlights
the TODO: whether there is a colon after it or not.

This appears to be working now and has been for a while based on
upstream's reply. Closing.
