Package: vim-tiny
Version: 5.7.002-2
Severity: normal
Whenever I start vim in an xterm, it rings the terminal bell. This seems to
have started happening sometime in the past week or so. I'd blame ncurses, but
no other ncurses-using programs seem to exhibit this behavior. I'd blame the
new xterm, but I can't reproduce the problem with any other programs. If I
start vim with TERM=vt100 or TERM=vt220, the problem goes away. The problem
also occurs with xterm-debian, xterm-xfree86, xterm-color and xterm-vt220.
However, it does NOT happen with color_xterm.
I'm starting with vim in the hopes that someone else will have experienced this
problem, or can tell me where to start debugging.

It appears this patch has been applied upstream, so I'm closing the bug.
If you're still able to reproduce the bug please reopen it.
