Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.4.0-2
Severity: normal
Suppose that a gnumeric spreadsheet is arranged to
print onto a single page by choosing File->Page-Setup
and then selecting "Fit to" 1 page wide by 1 page tall.
There seems to be an interaction between the font size
chosen for printing and the zoom factor used to display
the spreadsheet on the monitor. If 100% is selected, the
printed spreadsheet looks just like what is on the screen
and fits onto one page as requested. If 200% zoom happens
to be selected to display the spreadsheet in zoomed on the
monitor, then when the spreadsheet is printed all the cells
and formats still print onto one page as before but the
fonts have all doubled in size. I tried the default font
and the Arial font and this problem happens the same way
with both fonts. It also happens with print preview as well
as hard copy.
The zoom factor for displaying the spreadsheet on the computer
monitor should not interact with the way a spreadsheet is printed
since that is controlled by the Page-Setup settings.
Thanks
