Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.2.13-4
Severity: normal

Place a pattern into an empty cell using
format->cells->background and pick a
style. The style renders correctly in the cell in the
spreadsheet window but printing this spreadsheet
renders the cells completely black no matter what
style is chosen. If the same pattern is chosen but
with a different color (not black) then no pattern
is visible at all. This happens when printing to
the printer, in the print preview window, when
exporting to a postscript file, and when exporting
to a pdf file.

There seems to be some interaction between the background
style and the contents of the cell. If the cell is not
empty, say by putting a space into the cell, then the
background style tends to be rendered better, but still not
exactly as it appears in the spreadsheet window.

Thanks
