I just installed the dovecot security upgrade to 1.0.rc15-2etch1 and
discovered a problem with the postinst script of package dovecot-common:
At my site I get following output of aptitude upgrade:

The file /etc/ssl/certs/my_imap_cert.pem is mode 644 and owned by user
root and group dovecot.
Apparently this is no real problem (i.e. the IMAP server didn't stop to
work) but at least it's a bit unaesthetic.

Hello,
The shell code in dovecot-common.postinst which deals with certificates and
keys has been changed in 1:1.0.3-3 to check and create only the default
certificate and key. Your bug report refers to 1.0.rc15-2etch1, which is
the current version in etch (after a security upload), so I'm closing this
it with the right version information.
