Package: raidtools2
Version: 0.90.20010914-11
Severity: normal
Following the update of raidtools2 from -9 to -11 my reiserfs root-raid
configuration now fails at shutdown.
Looking at the messages output, during shutdown, the / device (/dev/md0)
is stopped before the processing in /etc/init.d/raid2 is completed
causing output of error messages to the effect that grep and sed can't
be found.
I'm not sure what's causing this but suspect that the readonly remount
of / in /etc/init.d/umountfs (before execution of /etc/init.d/raid2) is
triggering the shutdown of the raid devices.
Following this breakage, reiserfs reports errors at shutdown and I have
to suffer a resync of my raid devices at the next reboot.
