Package: xmms
Version: 1.2.5-2
Severity: normal
Architecture: powerpc

If I play a very long (3h) VBR mp3 file and try to skip to e.g. 2h 15
(using the slider), xmms displays the selected time but the audio output
is not related to the time displayed. (no monotonous relation, bigger
times do not always belong to bigger position in file!)

This might be an endianness bug (PPC). This bug was not noticable (does
not hurt) with 20min mp3s.

System: debian unstable powerpc

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
