Package: baobab
Version: 2.4.2-1.1+b1
Severity: normal

My case:

/mnt/sda4/ has the following directories:

  [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cd /mnt/sda4
  [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/mnt/sda4$ ls
  anders download manuals oldhome samba recipes
  cabaret   home        music         photos             series
  concerts lost+found mvi_0226.avi samba backgrounds tmp

I open my /mnt/sda4/ in baobab and it shows something different, and it
does not finish the search:

  V sda4 <== Searching
    > sda4
    > music
    > series
      ...
      ...
    > oldhome <== Searching

It displays a directory called sda4 in the directory that itself is
called sda4, but it does not exist.

In this case, the user I run baobab with, does not have access to the
directories in the directory 'oldhome'; this is where the display error
occurs and the search 'crashes'. With root access everything goes as it
is supposed to.

When I open the sda4 directory in baobab, it looks as follows:

  V sda4 <== Searching
    V sda4
      > anders
      > EigenCDs
      > home
    > music
    > series
      ...
      ...
    > oldhome <== Searching

EigenCDs and home are actually directories in the directory called 'anders'.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/mnt/sda4$ ls anders/
EigenCDs  home

I can provide screenshots if you want,

Robin

The baobab package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/424139 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
