Package: waproamd
Version: 0.6-4
Severity: wishlist

Waproamd will prefer, according to its documentation, a network for which a
script is known, and failing that uses the first it finds (concerning which,
Bug#264893). However, in most cases I don't need to set up any special
script, but I've already gone to the trouble of storing a key. I suggest that
waproamd prefer first a network with a known script, then one with a known
key, then whatever fallback algorithm applies (first-seen or best-signal or
whatever). It's still a stand-in for enabling the user to express a
preference or recalling successful associations in the past, but it'd be
improvement.

The waproamd package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/509389 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
