Package: musictracker
Version: 0.4.1-1
Severity: important
Hi,
Since XMMS is being removed from Debian, it is important that plugins
and other programs which interface with XMMS work also with Audacious.
Musictracker does not support Audacious 1.4's new DBus control interface
which replaced the old XMMS remote control interface. It is fairly easy
to make Musictracker work. For example, look at my pidgin-audacious
plugin or pidgin-mpris plugin for inspiration.

Package: pidgin-musictracker
Version: 0.4.8-1
Version 0.4.1 of musictracker (as it was known then) did indeed have
problems with Audacious 1.4
It was fixed in 0.4.5 but the next version packaged after 0.4.1 was
0.4.8 which is why I'm using that version to close this bug.
