I use MSN and XMPP (Gtalk) in my Pidgin, XMPP displays (changes
status) to what I'm listening to, but MSN does nothing for
this matter. Just last night I did safe-upgrade and it told me about
pidgin-musictracker being pulled from unstable, I
disregarded the message (I'm using few packages from unstable either
way) and did proceed with the upgrade.
After upgrade was complete, my XMPP works fine with
pidgin-musictracker but MSN ... nothing.

pidgin 2.5.4 was released from experimental to unstable mid February so
this bug can be closed. If you are running 2.5.4 or newer and still have
problems then let me know by reopening this bug.
