Package: synaptic
Version: 0.55+cvs20041119-1
Severity: minor

Today I upgraded gaim 1.0.3-1 to 1.1.0-1 using synaptic 0.55-4 (I
upgraded synaptic since). At synaptic startup the packages list
auto-updated (expected behavior). It is the first time that I see this problem,
but the list of dependencies that also had to be upgraded was incomplete
(it had libpango1.0-0 and libpango1.0-common only while there should
have been 5 more). At that time I didn't realize it was a bug, only when
I applied the changes. Then there were expectable errors (I don't
remember enough to precise what it said). I couldn't reproduce the bug
after restarting synaptic (gaim upgrade then worked fine).
This is a sporadic bug and I have no idea how I would reproduce, I'm
just posting that in case others also experience this strange problem sometime.

I didn't see this bug in a pretty long time, if I ever saw it for real. Let's
assume it doesn't exist now and close.
