Hi,
recently latex2html seems to call dvips with -Ppdf but
it cuased some problems, e.g. generated unnecessary
horizontal black line under a image.
And there is no reason to use "dvips -Ppdf" IMO.
Please remove (comment out) -Ppdf -E from /etc/latex2html.conf
