When I invoke 'ls' or 'rm' with extremely long argument lists, insead
of being told;
bash: /bin/rm: Argument list too long
I am told;
bash: /bin/rm: Bad address
[likewise for ls.]
Is this expected?
I am running Linux 2.2.5 on the current Debian stable.
