Package: sisu
Severity: wishlist

i think sisu can work without sql server.

Selecting 'sisu' and 'sisu-pdf' suggests 'sisu-postgresql'

In some environments its forbidden to install a db server,
but it might be allowed to run a local sisu text converter.

So it would be nice to install sisu without any sql deamons/server
after selecting 'sisu'.

SiSU has been packed as described/requested since the introduction of
separate packages for sisu-postgresql sisu-sqlite sisu-pdf etc. (in the
sisu v1 series) which pull in the applications and drivers required for
those operations and are 'recommends' (not 'depends') of sisu (and each
other).

A more extensive response was made earlier and is copied below.

Thank you,
Ralph Amissah

P.S. It is possible your apt tool marked additional recommended packages
for installation, if that behavior is not desired it is possible to
change its configuration (or in some cases deselect packages you do not
want)
