One thing that makes xpdf not useful as a presentation aid is that it
doesn't buffer on fullscreen display.
Could this feature be added please?
Probably should be a config or commandline option, because I'm sure
someone wants it not to behave that way.

I don't see how this makes xpdf any less useful for fullscreen
display. Other more feature-rich pdf applications are now available.
