This has started to happen just after testing upgraded to version
6.3.3-3.

On another i386 testing box, no problems: also 6.3.3-3

[imap.ntlworld.com is a gmail server. s/gmail/ntlworld/ in
Gmail.py.]

I haven't had time to look further as yet, so this is just a quick
report.

I recently uploaded a recent release 6.5.3.1 into debian.

I'm not experiencing the bug you describe, yet I cannot confirm that it
has been fixed.
