Package: gallery2
Version: 2.3-1
Severity: important
After creating a new multisite instance, administrator login is non-functional.
After entering the credentials and clicking the login button, gallery returns
to the (still bare, of course) start page in guest / logged out mode.
I tested this with virgin installations on two different hosts, one running
Lenny
with the Gallery2-package from Squeeze and one running pure SID, and I tested
both
PostgreSQL 8.3 and MySQL as DB backends and without activating any additional
modules. Enabling debugging did not show any (obvious) errors.
A new "normal" installation works fine, at least with the PostgreSQL backend.
(Did not test mysql.)
Interestingly, existing multisites upgraded from a previous Gallery 2.1
installation
continue to work.
Any hints? Does it work for someone?
Greetings,
Gunter
