Package: dpkg-dev-el
Version: 26.3-1
Severity: wishlist

Now that dpkg supports comments in debian/control files (since version
1.10.11), it'd be great if debian-control-mode.el could be updated to:
- fontify them in `font-lock-comment-face'
- set up appropriate values for `comment-start', `comment-continue', etc
- support comment filling in `debian-control-mode-fill-paragraph'

The syntax is described as follows in the dpkg changelog:

| Sun, 14 Sep 2003 21:16:18 -0500 Adam Heath <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
|
| * scripts/controllib.pl:
| * Comment lines(those that start with '#') are ignored during parsing.

For an example, please see the d-i control file.

Thanks,
