When I have a multipart MIME message in my RMAIL buffer I often wish
to forward it - perchance to another account which I read with a
graphical client. But when I do "C-u f" in rmail, which invokes
rmail-forward, which (when invoked with a prefix) simply calls
rmail-resend, the message is resent just fine *except* that the MIME
headers are stripped off. This causes other MIME-aware mail readers
to treat it as a long plain-text message, which is bad. It would be
much better if rmail-resend were to maintain the various important
mime headers, and just resend the message as unaltered as possible,
perhaps adding just "resent-to:" and "resent-by:" if it really must
leave its mark.

I cannot reproduce this problem with the current Emacs 24.3.
Rmail has been subtantially changed since the time of this report.
If you still see an issue with 24.3, I suggest opening a new report
directly with upstream.
