Hello,
I've set emacs to use grey on black color (as in the console). When I use
the "revert buffer" command from the file menu, I get a dialog that's
entirely unreadable.
That is because the new emacs sets this dialog to have a grey background,
but it doesn't set a foreground color (font color), which results in a grey
on grey dialog. The only thing that are visible are the borders of the
buttons.
There is a screenshot on http://people.debian.org/~mechanix/emacsbug.png,
where you can see what I mean. That shot was taken with the -1 revision, but
it's similar with -2, only the buttons have a 3d-ish look with that because
of the different xaw library used.

I can't reproduce the reported issue with the dialog color in the current Emacs
24.3, using either Gtk or Lucid toolkits.
If you still see an issue with the current Emacs 24.3, I suggest opening a new
report directly with upstream.
