Package: rsync
Version: 2.6.4-6
Severity: wishlist

Please consider adding the "extended attributes" patch to allow full
copies from Mac OS Tiger rsync (eg, the "-E" option). There is more
information about this here:

http://www.oreillynet.com/cs/user/view/cs_msg/66237

This would be a convenient addition to the Debian rsync for me and
probably other sysadmins who back up Mac volumes using rsync. Currently
I must build and patch my own version of rsync if I want to preserve the
Mac OS "extended attributes".

Thanks!

Marking as closed since 3.0.0 has been out there for some time.
