Package: modemmanager
Version: 1.2.0-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

After the upgrade from the version 1.0.0-5+b1 to 1.2.0-1, my 3G 4G modem does not appear in the NetworkManager when I plug it. It was working perfectly with the last version except usb-modeswitch wich does not do the job since last week ( 2.1.1+repack0-1 -> 2.2.0+repack0-1 ). But I use a virtualbox with WindowsXP to switch from memory to modem so it was working without usb-modeswitch. Anyway, usb-modeswitch is something else.
It's my first bug report, please be comprehensive ;)

Hi all,

I've had the opportunity to get my hands on a Huawei 12d1:* device
yesterday at DebConf and could then test both once-booted and during-
boot plugs. It worked the two times.

I'm therefore hereby closing this bug, which I suspect got fixed by the
TMPDIR fix in jimtcl (see #751271). Don't hesitate to re-open it if you
still can't get your Huawei device switched.

Thanks to all, cheers,

OdyX
