Package: libgeoip1
Version: 1.6.2-1
Severity: wishlist
It seems like maxmind is now offering a lite version of the city
database royalty-free, too -- I don't know how feasible it is to
include it in Debian (license wise), but it would be nice to include
it alongside the country database if it is feasible.

I am closing those bugs right now, because of the following already
discussed issues:
1) databases for geoip1 are not free as long as no volunteer provides
packaging scripts
2) geoip2 foo should be packages seperately
Please feel free to:
1) provide build scripts/modify the existing ones to support the city
version
2) packaging geoip2, I would welcome it and help you at this topic :)
