--- Begin Message ---Package: automake Version: 1:1.14.1-3 Severity: important Hi, I'm bitten with a weird bug in xfce4-screenshooter, where the locale files are suddenly not installed anymore (between 1.8.1-2 and 1.8.1-3 versions of the package). I've traced that to the fact that install_sh script is defined to ${SHELL} /tmp/buildd/install-sh. Note the path, which seems wrong. I've debugged further and it seeems that's because am_aux_dir is set to /tmp/buildd, which in turns comes from the configure line: # expand $ac_aux_dir to an absolute path am_aux_dir=`cd $ac_aux_dir && pwd` Unfortunately, this line appears *before* ac_aux_dir is set, so that means am_aux_dir is set to the homedir of the buildd user (tmp/buildd). I've looked a little and found: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-automake/2014-04/msg00012.html which seems a good idea to include in our build. As a workaround, I will build-dep on a versioned automake version temporarily, but you might want to include that fix rather quickly. It seems that the discrepancy between both builds come from the fact that buldd where previously using another automake version. I'm unsure of the severity. I'd considered it rather high, but maybe xfce4-screenshooter is the only affected package, I'm not sure⦠Regards, -- Yves-Alexis -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (450, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages automake depends on: ii autoconf 2.69-8 ii autotools-dev 20140911.1 automake recommends no packages. automake suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
