Package: wicd
Version: 1.6.2.2-3
Severity: normal

When I started the wicd network manager GUI, no wireless networks were
seen (though the machine was connected a few hours before). I had to
type "/etc/init.d/wicd restart" as root to solve the problem.

With wicd 1.7.2.4-4.1, while I still don't always see wireless
networks, a Refresh is always sufficient. No need to restart
the wicd daemon. Closing.
