Subject: gkrellm: mail: Turning on mute mode should stop running animation.
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.50
Date: Mon, 20 May 2002 13:36:27 -0700

Package: gkrellm
Version: 1.2.11-2
Severity: normal

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

When turning on the mailcheck component's mute mode, it is possible that there
is already some new mail, and so the animation continues running, even though
mute mode is on. I recommend that the animation be stopped immediately when
mute mode is enabled, and restarted (assuming there is still new mail) when mute
mode is turned back off.

Note: I've set the severity to 'normal' instead of 'minor' or 'wishlist' because
this problem partially undermines the functionality of mute mode, and thus
qualifies as a 'problem with a particular option or menu item'.

Hi,

It is the default behaviour and not really a bug, so I will close it.
