Package: chromium
Version: 45.0.2454.85-1~deb8u1
Severity: important
chromium now has an extension "Google Now" which cannot be disabled. This
extension has far reaching rights. One should be able to disable it and
probably it should be disabled by default.

Wolfgang

debian/patches/disable/external-components.patch disables this in
unstable. To get this accepted for stable, you'll need to talk with
the release team.
Best wishes,
Mike
