Subject: k3b hangs when trying to overwrite DVD+RW with ISO-Image.

Package: k3b
Version: 0.11.14-1
Severity: normal

On the first attempt (remembering erasing a DVD+RW is not required
after k3b's own statement) to overwrite a DVD+RW with a DVD ISO
image, k3b simply froze. I tried several time, always with the
same result.

Then I wanted to reformat the DVD to erase the data. k3b claims
this is not necessary and I can simply overwrite it. I see.
Trying again did not help. So I finaly forced reformatting (the
fast variant that does only the first 10% of the DVD). Now,
it seems to work.

The documentation in the dialogues should be changed
to clearly explain that reformattin IS required if you want
to write an ISO image to the DVD+RW.

Also, the program should react nicely when it finds a written
DVD+RW and cannot overwrite this with an image.

Kind regards

Andreas
