Package: bins
Version: 1.1.29-4
Severity: important

My xml files (album and image) have unicode characters in them that are being
converted into some other form to make the HTML output. For example, one of my
album.xml files has the title set to "Nürnberg, Germany". Mysteriously, this
is converted to "Nürnberg, Germany". All of my xml files include the the
line:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
so the unicode characters should be handled properly, but all of the non-ASCII
characters are being mangled.

My locale settings are:
$ locale
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=en_US:en_GB:en
LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
