Package: cinnamon-session
Version: 3.0.0-2

cinnamon depends on cinnamon-session.

However, cinnamon-session breaks cinnamon <= 3 but the most recent
version of cinnamon in Debian unstable is 3.0.2-2.

Maybe you should lower the breaks to cinnamon << 3

Thanks,
Jeremy

For dpkg, a version 3 is lower than 3.0, and thus lower than 3.0.2-2. So, it's not a bug but a matter of 'style'. Marga suggested that I should use << 3.0~ in the future as upstream considers the 3.0 as the major part of the release.

Anyway, I'm closing the bug report as this won't cause any "issue".

Happy hacking,
