--- Begin Message ---Package: doc-linux Version: N/A; reported 2002-08-29 Severity: normal Tags: patch upstream I spent many hours trying to get the "jog" wheel mouse on my Sony VAIO laptop function as a wheel mouse or to send the middle button. I tried just about every mode 'gpm' or 'XF86Config' would offer. The solution was to install the 'sjog' package (and to modify it to send the middle button -- patch submitted for 'sjog'). Somewhere in the 3-Button-Mouse mini-HOW-TO, using 'sjog' with Sony VAIO mice should be mentioned, at least in terms of making it function as a wheel mouse. -- Tovar P.S. The domain for the source page of this mini-HOW-TO (kipper.york.ac.uk) doesn't seem to exist right now (http://kipper.york.ac.uk/mouse.html in the 'Introduction' page). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux tvr-vaio 2.4.20-pre3-ben0 #35 Tue Aug 20 10:33:49 PDT 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C -- no debconf information

--- Begin Message ---Version: 2008.08-1+rm doc-linux was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze) in February 2011 and removed from Debian sid/unstable in 2012 (see http://bugs.debian.org/668078 for details on the removal). Since support for squeeze and squeeze-LTS has now ended, I'm closing all the remaining bugs reported against this package. Andreas
