Package: fontconfig
Version: 2.2.1-13
Severity: important
The text in programs that use fontconfig is invisible. Downgrading to
fontconfig 2.2.1-8 fixes it. I had the same problem with 2.2.1-12.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything in between that I can try.
Sometimes, I can get some text showing up, but it is un-anti-aliased,
and in an ugly font. i.e. not the way it should be.
I have posted a screenshot at
http://www.uhoreg.ca/broken_fontconfig.png
that shows two instances of gtk-demo. On the left, it is using
fontconfig 2.2.1-13, and on the right is fontconfig 2.2.1-8.
