Package: imapproxy
Version: 1.2.4-10.1
I'm running a medium size mail server on etch. The system uses imapproxy
to speed up the php webmail. Every now and then I find that the
imapproxy process is simply not running causing webmail logins to fail.
I don't know what triggers the quit, but the following is printed in the
mail log:
Sep 8 00:11:31 mail in.imapproxyd[3692]: IMAP_Line_Read(): connection
closed prematurely.
Sep 8 00:11:31 mail in.imapproxyd[3692]: Raw_Proxy(): Failed to read
line from client on socket 36
The changelog for upstreams version 1.2.5 suggest that this problem has
been fixed:
2006-08-15 Dave McMurtrie <[email protected]>
* imapcommon.c: No longer exit() from IMAP_Line_Read() on
failed sanity check
.

All the packages in Debian are newer than 1.2.5, so I think this can be
closed.
