Package: ltsp-server-standalone
Version: 5.2.4-2
Severity: normal
Tags: squeeze

package ltsp-server-standalone has dependencies:

...
- nbd-server (>= 1:2.9.6-2)
- nfs-kernel-server
...

by this dependencies is not possible uninstall the NFS server if NBD
image is used as root for clients (and then NFS server becomes
useless). IMHO this must be in form:

- nbd-server (>= 1:2.9.6-2)
- nfs-kernel-server | nbd-server

The LTSP server works with NBD root and without both (NFS and portmap)
services (stopped and disabled). But i have two unused services in my
system for now. IMHO, the maintainers opinion about using the NFS/NBD
must no touch the users option which solution is best for their
environment.

Please raise severity, if this is policy violation (i don't know), to
prevent these dependencies go to squeeze...

Since LTSP in debian now defaults to using NBD, and nfs-kernel-server is
removed from the dependencies, this bug is essentially resolved.
