It would be cool if, when I hit ctl-N, the new window would be
the same size as the window that was active when I used the
command (or right clicked and chose "Open Terminal").

I use a desktop alias with the command changed to use the
flag --geometry to set the dimensions and location. Though
I do not want the new window to be exactly on top of the
active window, but it would be great if it were the same
size instead of 80x40.

Or if I could put a default size in the profile, that would
work too.

Thanks! --mark--

Hi,

I'm closing this bug now since it seems to be fixed.

Nowadays there is an *Initial terminal size* option in *Profile Preferences*
.

If you can still reproduce it feel free to reopen and provide more info.

thanks
regards
Pedro
