keychain fails to detect gnupg-agent 2.1.7 (from unstable) with:

* Found existing ssh-agent: 1039
* Starting gpg-agent...
* Error: Failed to start gpg-agent
It could be related to write-env-file directive no longer supported by
gpg-agent.
Downgrading to gpg-agent 2.0.x from stretch or upgrading to keychain 2.8.1
fixes this bug.

Hi,
Debian has 2.8.1 now, so I assume this is fixed (given that Ondrej
already tested 2.8,1 prior to filing this bug).
